" I grew up on a farm which had bee hives, and enjoyed when the bee keeper would come to harvest the honey. He would often give me a small piece of honeycomb to chew on and delight in its raw sweetness.
Your painting drew me into my own childhood memories of busy bees and the anticipation of tasting their sweet honey.
Some of my favorite childhood memories in grandma's kitchen garden were picking berries, and veggies alongside the bees' hum on a hot summer's day."
